Wild Things offers a fantastic sensory experience under the innocent form of a container.
This container, designed by Pierre Favresse, is an enigmatic object in which the organic scaly form evokes a universe that is at once familiar yet remote. The native images are inspired by photographs of animals; a phantasmagorical bestiary, full of scales and fur.
With an intriguing texture, it asks to be touched providing a real sensory experience. Through the strength of its shell WildThings exhibits the finesse and beauty of the porcelain. It is in this environment that we endeavour to store our most precious belongings, such as our jewellery.
The collection enables users to experiment with what could be epidermic contact with animals that due to extinction, danger or distance, or even myth, are inaccessible. A functional object but also a dream object, it refers to a fanciful and polymorphous vision of our imagination.
