Virkelyst 3-seater is a modern outdoor sofa with the seating comfort of an indoor furniture.
The simple wooden frame strikes a contrast with the thick, soft cushions. The upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion is filled with airy fossflakes – an allergy-friendly polyethylene material which maintains its volume and shape over time.
SAYS WHO
Nikolaj Duve and Kasper Meldgaard gain inspiration from the Danish designers of the 1950s. Their style is present-day and thought through down to the smallest detail, although strongly rooted in the simplicity, minimalism and function of the Scandinavian design tradition. As the name Says Who indicates, the two designers are their willing to challenge conventional expectations. As often as they can get away with it, they ask ‘Says Who?’, and are pleased about the direct invitation to get involved that lies in the question.
We are a Danish design company with roots deeply grounded in Scandinavian design and tradition for good craftsmanship. We are owned by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who live with their two children in the Northern harbour city of Aalborg. This is where Skagerak was founded too, back in 1976, when the first dreams of making long-lasting design took form.
