Resources

Movement, illusion, light, surprise. Vertigo is a suspension that suggests a gap of graphical and transparent intimacy that comes alive at the mercy of drafts.

Vertigo is, in the words of its designer, a “den lamp”. It is simultaneously ethereal and graphic, adapting to both large and small spaces where it creates it’s own intimate space. With its ultra light fibreglass structure, stretched with velvelty polyurethane ribbons, this pendant lamp fascinates as it comes to life swaying in the soft air currents that surround it.

Constance Guisset Studio

Constance Guisset Studio was founded in 2009. Specialized in product design, interior design and scenography, it gathers around Constance Guisset a team of designers and architects. The Studio intends to create light and animated objects, aiming to arouse wonder and to invoke a moment of escape in dreams.

After studying at ESSEC business School and Sciences-Po Paris, then a one-year internship at Japan Parliament in Tokyo, Constance Guisset chooses to turn towards design and enters ENSCI design school from which she graduates in 2007. In 2008, she is awarded the “Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris”, wins the Prize for the Public of the Design Parade at La Villa Noailles (Hyère, France), as well as two grants from the VIA (French institute for the valorisation of innovation in design). In 2010, she is named among the “ten designers of the year” in Maison & Objet, Now! Design à vivre and is awarded the Audi Talents Awards.

Constance Guisset Studio works with many French and international furniture editors such as Petite Friture, Moustache, Tectona, Nature & Découvertes, Molteni&C, La Cividina, etc. The Studio also designs industrial objects for companies like La Cie – Seagate or travel accessories for Louis Vuitton Malletier for instance.

A French design manufacturer established in 2009, Petite Friture aims to produce objects that create a spark, designed by emerging talents.
