Staffan Holm

The poetry of handcraft and the wonders of modern technology are the sources of Staffan Holm’s inspiration. The Swedish designer worked as a carpenter before entering the renowned School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg, where he later founded his own studio. It’s here that he realises his vision: to convey human qualities and emotions through his high-quality, beautifully made pieces.

Together with vanguard international designers, Hem is creating a new generation of sustainable furniture, accessories and lighting.
