Tempest is the original space-saving flip-top table system for use in multi-purpose eating, meeting, training and conferencing facilities. Endless permutations of size, shape and finish can be linked together to create numerous different configurations. The Tempest system will therefore always have an answer to architects’ specification requirements. With Tempest, reconfiguration has never been easier – discreetly concealed castors fixed to one end provideeasy “wheel-barrowing” of the tables around the space. By flipping the tops, the tables can be nested, which saves valuable space when not in use.
Founded in the 1920s by Harald Howe, HOWE a/s is one of the pioneers within the design and development of multifunctional and space-saving furniture – especially recognised for design icons such as the 40/4 chair and the Tempest flip-top table.
