Gebrüder Thonet Vienna reconfirms the collaboration with Chiara Andreatti with the new SUZENNE SOFA, a two-seater sofa that incorporates the aesthetic characteristics of the lounge chair with the same name.
A project with a contemporary spirit, SUZENNE SOFA reinterprets, with the soft stoke of the designer, the characteristic elements of the DNA of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna: bent wood and woven cane. The seat features a sleek structure in bent beech-wood, with the combination of straight and curved lines securing the backrest in woven cane, with wood frame. The cushions on the seat and backrest are soft and cosy, springing forth like a flower from the stem.
Chiara Andreatti
was born not far from Venice and moved to Milan to study first at the European Institute of Design and then attend a master's degree at the Domus Academy. He has worked with numerous design studios such as Raffaella Mangiarotti, Renato Montagner and studio Lissoni Associati where he worked for more than ten years. He designs for companies like Glas Italia, Non Sans Raison, CC-tapis, Mingardo and Atipico, currently he is art director Karpeta and Texturae. In 2018 it was called to represent the tenth edition of the Fendi anniversary at Design Miami.
His work has been published in the most important national and international magazines (Domus, Interni, Surface, Rum, Abitare, Wallpaper, Elle Decor, Living, Icon, Ddn etc ..)
