With horizontal stripes formed by the profile of the doors, this simple credenza has an oak veneer or matt paint carcass and lacquered or solid oak or walnut doors.
With cable management and adjustable library shelves, Stripey comes in a two, three or four door version or as a tall unit with steel silver tube legs. Stripey was one of our first collaborations with Simon Pengelly, its continued popularity owes much to its classic design.
Simon Pengelly started making furniture in his father's workshop when he was eight, going on to win national competitions for cabinet making. The practical experience and an affinity with materials and processes, gained from an early age, are central to his design work and service.
"Understanding materials and manufacturing techniques is fundamental to my approach, combined with a passionate desire to create accessible production furniture with 'soul'. Understanding manufacturing culture and possessing knowledge of these companies markets is the only way to effectively work with manufacturers."
