Wood in a new guise.
The STICKS coat stand consists of six solid wood rods that lean to rest on each other. A notch at the top of each one offers additional hanging space. STICKS is available in oiled walnut or oak, and matt painted ash in black, snow white, night blue or neon pink. Without coats or jackets on it, STICKS looks like an art installation – but when doing its job, its down-to-earth practicality and strength come to light, be it in entrance areas, offices or elsewhere. A timeless favourite.
Michael Schwebius
Developing designs that are sensible, good to look at and functional. This is how Michael Schwebius formulates his objectives as a designer. After training as a carpenter and studying interior design in Flensburg, he began a career as designer in the furniture industry. Since 1987 Michael Schwebius has been a freelancer; he lives and works beside a South German lake, the Chiemsee. His office concerns itself with corporate design and also with international trade fair, interior outfitting and product design.
