Carlo Colombo
Born in Carimate, Italy, Carlo Colombo is one of the designers with whom Cappellini has established one of the strongest and most pleasurable professional collaborations.
Thanks to his versatility, Carlo Colombo has worked on numerous projects, most prominently the Zigo Zago carpet, the Hot Palm Springs sofa and the Ministeel table series.
He has overseen the refurbishing of public and private buildings such as showrooms, offices, restaurants and villas, while providing consulting for the leading companies in the furniture sector. To this day, Carlo Colombo works for companies such as Moroso, Poliform, Varenna, Poltrona Frau and Flou.
Among his most noteworthy accomplishments are the Tokyo “Designer of the Year” award in 2004 and the creation of the Hong Kong Louvre Gallery, an exhibition space for top quality design products.
