Sax starts from three fundamental principles: essence, austerity and geometry. The design was conceived by blocks: straight and compact central modules which incorporate daring designs for the arms. The result is an irresistibly convertible modular; an easy 20-piece puzzle with which to make countless compositions. Despite its straight lines, Sax is extremely comfortable, especially with the seats extended: the modules with sliding mechanism allow for an extension of up to 22cm. The operation of the mechanism is very simple: you only need to lift the seat slightly and pull it outwards. The table, upholstered and wheeled, fits the gap created by the floating arm perfectly. The bold armchairs are the result of combining 92cm modules with narrow arms. Technical data Solid wooden structure covered with foam and fibre shell. Seat structure fitted with NEA webbing. Back and arms structure made with HR Ultracel foam. Inner seat cushion made with HR Ultracel foam of different densities with reinforced corners. Beech feet stained wenge. Sliding mechanism is F1 steel painted in black. Suitable for upholstery in fabric, leather or synthetic leather; the covers are fully removable when upholstered in fabric but only the cushion covers are removable when upholstered in leather or synthetic leather. COMPLEMENTS Extra cushions are made with a cotton cover filled with Fiberdream. Both the decorative cushion and the headrest are made with HR Ultracel foam covered with fibre. TABLE This is a wheeled, upholstered table. Agglomerated structure covered with HR Ultracel foam. Chipboard top upholstered in polyurethane with transparent glass.
