Handmade, rustic 'triangle' tea light holder made with natural clay by historic brick makers. Designed to tessellate to create stylish arrangements. A year round accessory, create a cosy indoor winter or stylish alfresco supper.
The distinctive finish and natural variation in colour is due to them being fired in different positions within the traditional coal kiln. The shades vary from pink to light yellow, making each one totally unique.
Light up your living space both inside and out
The Sand Cast Brick Tea Light Holder is a year round accessory that is ideal for a mantelpiece in the winter, or outside on a patio in the summer. Inject rustic charm into the home by using them as a single accessory or tessellating them together to create a striking centrepiece for indoor dining or alfresco suppers. The natural material is perfect for a garden and blends in with flora and fauna.
The brick contrasts with the copper tea light cup’s shiny finish which reflects the light, creating an ambient warm glow. Its rustic surface will contrast with the different textures in a living room, making the space feel homely.
The simple geometric shape will be an ideal finishing touch and focal point for a bookshelf or side surface.
Sand cast bricks - an ancient process
They have a raw, sandy and tactile finish as they are hand moulded in a wooden cast using unprocessed Essex clay. The bricks are a natural product, as the additive-free clay is the only ingredient.
Bulmer Brick and Tile Company
Bulmer use a high quality, traditional method of sand casting to ensure durability and precision and are then hand cut.
They are highly accredited, with a prestigious portfolio which includes London’s grade 1-listed St Pancras train station, which was made to match the design of the 150-year-old original.
“The Bulmer Brick & Tile Company is a small family business which uses traditional and economical methods of making and drying bricks. Their clay has been dug from the same seams since Tudor times. We discovered Bulmer when working on a design project in Suffolk and immediately wanted to design a product using their bricks.”
