In the Sand project, there are characteristics that can hardly be shared in a single chair: refined aesthetics, great comfort, lightness and robustness.
In precious leather or leather-coated versions, advanced production technology blends perfectly with the inimitable hand of mans hand. Lightweight, stackable, available in outdoor versions: Sand, as well as for home use, is ideal for collective destinations. Stackable chair with or without armrests, die-cast aluminum frame. Seat and back in polypropylene loaded with fiberglass in the colors: white, medium gray, anthracite, red, red bulgarian, tortora, sand. Lacquered structure in the same color of the seat and back, arched gray lacquered or polished aluminum finishes, lithium, opaque obsidian, polished obsidian. Lacquered versions with polypropylene seat and backrest that can also be used for outdoor use. Also available in versions coated in leather, leather, leather, leather, fabric. Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci as an industrial design and architecture studio. Claudio and Marco, during their study in Architecture in Florence, creates with some friends a group of experimental theater. Continuing their partnership, they choose to deal set of design: the interest in theater strongly influences the setting of the new studio: creativity, sense of reality, respect and attention for the public. The design for Archirivolto is beauty, harmony and freedom: it cannot be bound by strict predefined rules or exist such as a privilege of a social and cultural elite. The designer has a duty to create a universal beauty and bring the design to a growing number of people. The research of materials and processes, focused to achieve maximum results in a quality/price ratio, it’s the one of the main activities of the studio. The design district of Archirivolto is based in the Tuscany’s heart, the land from which they daily takes inspiration.
