Rope Trick integrates LED technology within a dynamic new form, challenging the idea of a conventional floor light. An original means of adjustment provides both a downward reading light and a diffused uplighter, both dimmable.
Big part of the Trick is an extruded and textile covered plastic profile, which carries the LED head: moving the head along the profile changes its orientation continuously. Rope Trick floor lamp serves as a reading light next to a bed, a chair or a table. After sliding the head in its up-most position, the light is casted upwards onto the wall or ceiling which creates an indirect atmospheric illumination.
A high-quality and progressive design that integrates LED technology within a dynamic new tailored form. The light comprises a range of modern materials, including an internal plastic skeleton, woven PET and Techflex for the light’s arm, moulded ABS for the base, and a specially designed aluminium LED module for dissipating heat.
The acrylic shade can be slid along the neck of the light in a flexible way. This allows both up and down diffuse light to be directed to different places in a room, ranging from a low level ambient light to a full brightness. The dimmer with memory adds to the sense that this design is at the vanguard of lighting technology. ×
