The multifunctional Riviera Lounge is based on the original Riviera Sunbed, which can expand in length.
Here, the expansion is not in length but in width, enabling the lounge elements to serve as a chair and table, a sofa or a level surface that will serve as a sunbed.

Povl B. Eskildsen
Form does not follow function. Form and function go together. That is how Povl B. Eskildsen describes the essence of designing. And he is a man who knows what he’s talking about, for he has created a long line of strong designs for both Danish and international companies. He was born in Jebjerg, Denmark, close to the Limfjord and qualified as an architect from the School of Architecture in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1986. Since then he has worked as an independent designer on creating designs that reflect the present-day age and lifestyle.
We are a Danish design company with roots deeply grounded in Scandinavian design and tradition for good craftsmanship. We are owned by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who live with their two children in the Northern harbour city of Aalborg. This is where Skagerak was founded too, back in 1976, when the first dreams of making long-lasting design took form.
