The Ripple Throw might seem simple at first but upon taking a closer look, the weaving technique creates an optical illusion that changes with the motions of the fabric.
Available in a range of colours, the Ripple Throw is light while providing substantial warmth to its user. 100% cotton. Made using a traditional technique, a Leno- weave. The technique originates from the fashion industry and is used in clothes detailing. Each throw’s weave is a mix between 2-3 colours of yarn, weaved together to give the throw its 3-dimensional ripple effect.

MARGRETHE ODGAARD ON HER DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
“Have simplicity as a clarified vision. Look for fresh ways of combining and exploiting color. Make the process as important as the outcome. Share your knowledge, ideas and skills without hesitation. Be specific to order to become general. Use good tools and create new if necessary. Think through your hands. Free yourself from the limits of coolness. Allow things to evolve at their own pace. Listen. Laugh. Dance.”
MARGRETHE ODGAARD ON NEW NORDIC DESIGN
“The new generation of designers in Scandinavia know the history and craft of our culture, and in that knowledge, we find the keys to choosing the right solutions when making beautiful and functional products for everyday life.”
