Teakwood (100% first class teak wood veneer, solid parts out of teak wood)

The foldable collection Rex was designed between 1952 and 1957. Basic material is beech plywood and beech solid wood. We deliver them in 6 standard colours (white, black, beechwood, dark brown, lime and orange). Apart from that we produce them also in walnut wood (17 layers of first class veneer on the sitting and leaning part) and from teak wood (15 laters of first class veneer on the sitting and leaning part - suitable for stylish outside use). Designed in 1952, Rex Lounge is much more than just a folding wooden chair. It is a work of art whose timeless form offers maximum comfort. Its clean minimalistic design and contemporary elegance takes full account of ergonomics and fits the body perfectly. Its chameleon-like nature allows it to fit anywhere and appeal to each and every personality. Each piece can easily transform from a decorative collector’s item into comfortable folding piece of furniture. “There is a good reason why this 50s chair remains one of the most desired items for enlightened design lovers."
