The Pulsar project reflects the various spirits of Esperia: the sculptural aspect of the lamps, the theatrical presence, the extensive use of metals crafted with technically complex methods, the unconventional application of the crystal of the Siena production district.

The inspiration comes from a contemporary perspective on the same sky Brotto gazed at back in the 1960s: Pulsar draws on the graphic signs that represent the stars known by the same name.

“Hesperia is the name with which the Greeks originally designated the western lands, in the direction of the sunset (vesper = evening). The name was also used by the Latin poets to indicate Italy.”
