DelineoDesign
Delineo, derives from the Latin and means "he who draws". Delineodesign is the pseudonym with which I sign my projects. My name is Giampaolo Allocco and I grew up in Italy between Turin and Treviso.
In 1996 I fell in love with design by reading the magazine MODO. Since then, every day of my life is a journey oriented towards design. This follows is the biography of a life on the contrary: mine.
After the industrial diploma I worked in the sport system. I gained confidence, I met extraordinary men, formidable athletes and smart managers. I have done a bit of training and gained experience in product development, engineering, marketing and strategy consulting. I have lived and absorbed all the constructive and constructive energy possible from the industrial system. I learned to seize the challenges and take responsibility for them.
At twenty-five, I abandoned everything to pursue my only dream: design. The synthesis of the lived experiences came at the end of the "Master in Industrial Design" at the "Scuola Italiana Design" of Padua with the Arch. Bruno Scagliola (for 14 years at Ettore Sottsass Associati) and Prof. Ottorino Piccinato. For some years I have carried out projects in Italy and abroad as free-lance in the snowboard, formula one, ski boots and bike sectors.
Today I am joined by a creative team of great personality who works in synergy with the customers around the same goal. I want the result of each project to be recognizable and essential as the gesture of the hand. I follow the common thread of all time, I rely on research and I look for the same emotions that have guided me to this day.
I want to keep the distance from the stylistic derives of authors or products that live the ephemeral time of a season, the one that no longer exists. I prefer to plan for the future with intelligence, consistency and enthusiasm. I am fascinated by those who have concrete goals but love to dream, from those who have a vision and want to take it along with me, from those who look for challenges to try to win them.
