With freedom of choice for users in mind, Poppy creates inviting settings with the visual comfort and tactile softness of home.
Poppy was created out of a design partnership between Haworth and Patricia Urquiola, a keen observer of how people interact with each other in today’s workplace settings. Reflecting a modern era of lightness, Poppy has a light, uncomplicated ease and global style that strike the right balance between workplace needs and gentle, domestic warmth. Here, there, and everywhere in between - that’s where today’s workers get things done. From meeting rooms to lobbies, touchdown spaces, and offices, Poppy is always a welcoming presence. Its curved lines and soft edges form an organic, enveloping shape that makes you feel at home. Poppy also complements many of Haworth’s portfolio products.

Patricia Urquiola, designer and architect, was born in Oviedo, Spain. She now lives and works in Milan where she runs Studio Urquiola. Her work is widely known to be playful and poetic, yet pragmatic and functional, a creative combination that is the magic behind her work. She comes and goes through conventional time-- rethinking, reinventing, and creating new. The effect is a powerful reminder of the past and exploration into the now, always creating a new experience for the user.
There’s plenty of noise in the business world, but the best spaces have the capacity to cut through it all and say something meaningful - something that inspires people to pause, gather, connect, and refresh.
