Permesso – the classic bench in a new style Key information: Girsberger modernizes a classic among benches: Permesso is now available with a flat steel base. The new design makes it an ideal match for the new Yoho table from Girsberger. Bützberg, 18 January 2016. – For many years the Permesso bench has been one of the most successful products in the Girsberger collection. Now the Swiss furniture manufacturer brings a new version of this classic to market. In addition to models with a base console made of round or angled nickel-chromium steel or wood, a flat-steel version is now also available. In the standard configuration the flat steel is powder-coated in a dark slate colour, but the console is also available in any RAL colour on request. The shape and surface of the new base not only lend Permesso a new accent, they also make it a perfect match for Yoho, the newest table model in the Girsberger collection. Permesso was conceived as a modern interpretation of traditional bench seating. Its formal simplicity and lightness are striking. The seat upholstery and back upholstery seem to float horizontally without intruding on the surrounding space, whether the bench is set in a free-standing position, in a corner or up against the wall. Along with the four standard lengths, intermediate sizes are also available on request for a perfect match between Permesso and the table and room.

The origins of the furniture manufacturer Girsberger go back to a woodturner’s workshop, which was founded as a family enterprise in Zurich in 1889.
