The elegant Pantop line was designed by Danish designer Verner Panton in 1980, and has for long been a staple of the Verpan collection.

Verpan presents the Ø23 cm version in an array of bold colours – each carefully selected to add its own personality and mood to the collection. Going back to the roots, the Ø23 cm version was one of the original sizes Verner Panton designed in 1980, and is now re-introduced. The new Pantop in 8 new colours and 2 variants is designed to fit into a wide number of settings and interiors. The table lamp fits perfectly in the window sill, bookcase or counter, and the pendant works equally well on its own as it does in clusters giving you the freedom to be creative and create your own personal expression.

Verner Panton

Verner Panton (1926-1998) was an inspirational and colourful personality. A unique person with a special sense of colours, shapes, light function and room. Over the course of his career, Verner Panton (1926-1998) introduced a series of modern lamps with personalities unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries.
With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting should work and how it should influence its surrounding. Verner Panton studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before going on to work at Arne Jacobsen’s architectural practice. Verner Panton set up his own design studio in 1955.
