Inga Sempé’s Pandarine fuses the luxurious comfort of a bed with the versatility of a modular sofa in an elegant and versatile design.

Editor's Notes

Comfort can look chic. Paris-based designer Inga Sempe unites plush padding and a charming appeal in her new Pandarine sofa for Hay. The generous design offers a softness similar to a bed while keeping up a fresh look - its slim feet balance out the voluminous shape of the sofa. The backrest resembles pillows, while the cylindrical armrests add a contrasting shape. Generous foam padding on the springs gives the seat a mattress-like feel.

What the brand says

Constructed using a combination of Nozag springs, foam, and wadding, Pandarine is designed to provide exceptional comfort in any number of sitting or lying positions. Available in two- and three-seater versions with options for additional chaise longues and corner modules, its range of textiles and configurations give it great flexibility for use in a variety of private and public contexts.
