Palma’s design is based on elemental forms, its luminous quality expressed though a warm quality dimmable light.
Filtered by two glowing half spheres of blown opal glass, joined together by an aluminum ring, in a graphite or white finish. Vibia presents a table lamp with blown glass sphere that gives off a warm lighting effect that takes over interior spaces with a wrap-around luminance that is both comforting and reassuring.
Antoni Arola
Antoni Arola is the designer of the Flamingo collection for Vibia. His projects include diverse fields of design: lighting, articles of furniture, landscaping and exhibitions. With the Flamingo hanging lamp Arola combines artistic experimentation in his design work with lighting research through the use of materials and LED technology.
Light creates, renders and gives life. Through light we perceive the landscape, architecture and the spaces we inhabit, stimulating our senses and perceptions. Each of us possesses a unique identity, a personal point of view and a subjective way of perceiving reality.
