Fixed cover for the base and removable coverings for the cushions available in all the fabrics and leathers of the collection. This padded and shaped Italian upholstery collection offers both classic design and contemporary design and is characterized by a thin shell that contains large and comfortable pillows. The new Orla collection by Jasper Morrison tells the tale of the Orla project development reinventing the classic kidney bean sofa from the 50s. Curved and smooth lines stimulate interaction between users while the clean-cut appeal of its shape conveys a contemporary look inspired by organic design. According to the logic of modularity, the asymmetric shape of sofas and poufs provides countless different configurations. The upholstery foam undergoes meticulous processes of grinding and polishing to reach a continuous curvilinear shape. Cushions are removable.

Jasper Morrison

Born in London in 1959, Japer Morrison graduated from the Royal College of Art and established his first design office in 1986. Immediately following, he began his lasting and valuable collaboration with Cappellini. Nowadays he works in London and Paris for high-level companies such as Alessi, Flos, Rowenta, Sony and Samsung. Each Morrison project has a simple elegance which makes it strongly modern as an archetype linked to past, favoring function on expression.

Cappellini faced the new millennium inextricably linked to the world of images, exploration and research.
