Morphe is the name of a series of lamps handcrafted from paper mache. The shape of this ceiling lamp have many connotations with the zoomorphic and amorphous forms like eggs, amoebas, oblong stones riddled by sea waves.
Term “morphe” derived from Greek, means “shape”. Visually ceiling lamp Morphe has many connotations with the zoomorphic and amorphous forms like eggs, amoebas, oblong stones riddled by sea waves. Smooth and oval surface accentuates irregular recesses, unique wrinkles in each of the lamps. No two lamps are the same and each piece tells a different story. Furthermore Morphe lamps, except from the practical function, can be an essential element of any interior decor.
Morphe lamp is very lightweight and durable. It is handcrafted entirely from pulped newspapers, ecologic, water based glue and natural pigments. All these components, as well as the process of lamp formation, are environmentally friendly and ecological.
◉ Lamp and cable colours:
Ceiling lamp Morphe is available in several colours obtained from natural pigments. You can choose them while placing the order. Textil cable colour is Cotton White as default (1m). You should use only LED bulbs up to 20W hence the bulb is not included. This lamp requires a bulb with E27 ending.
Lamp was shown at the London Design Fair in 2017. Plenty of newspapers showcased this collection. Most importantly: Label Magazine, Archiproducts, Design Alive, Furnishing International and above all Design Wanted.
