Mono Reloaded – A Facelift for the Mono Stepstool Sturdy and special. The Mono stepstool by Steffen Kehrle owes its looks to its function. For example, the small ‘nose’, visible when looking at Mono from the side, was created to provide a larger surface for safe climbing, while the curve at the back guarantees stability. Using these simple features, Steffen Kehrle has created a lightweight, yet sturdy, piece of furniture that not only looks special, but also serves as both a stool and a stepladder. Safe and charming. With Mono Reloaded, Richard Lampert will be presenting a new version of the Mono stepstool at IMM Cologne 2016. While we are familiar with facelifts from the world of automotive design, they are rather unusual in the furniture industry. But, due to their high demands on design and quality, Richard Lampert and Steffen Kehrle decided to test Mono again for improved functionality and structural stability. The result is Mono Reloaded, featuring an even more charming form than its predecessor and, thanks to its improved structural design, Mono Reloaded also meets the GS standard. Practical and versatile. Whether you need a stool in the kitchen or children’s room or a ladder to reach for suitcases on the wardrobe or for books on the top shelf, Mono Reloaded makes for a practical and versatile everyday piece of furniture. Thanks to a cut-out handle and a very low weight, Mono Reloaded is also easy to move around. Made from recyclable and food-safe polyethylene, Mono Reloaded is as of now available in Posted yellow, teal, lipstick, light grey and anthracite.
