In the collection’s “nomadic” spirit, the stool functions well in any room in the house, although it was designed to be used with the desk. Height-adjustable with a round oak seat set on a tripod structure in aluminium sheet painted black, this stool has a playful linear design that matches the base of the desk. Portable Atelier: a capsule collection of co-branded design objects Driade is presenting the première of a new collection of objects and furnishing accessories created in partnership with Moleskine, a company that has always created tools to encourage creativity, such as the iconic notebook. The Portable Atelier collection designed by the French designer Philippe Nigro reflects and underscores the values shared by the two brands - love for culture, creativity, and attention to personal identity - to create a playful project that is also elegant and timeless. The collection includes a line of desk furnishings and accessories, created with the idea of making a “nomadic” study and/or workstation that can be moved from place to place in the home or office. These simple elegant objects were designed to define and customise our personal workspace and turn it into an inspiring journey. A small, lightweight desk with a flap top that can hold a laptop, sheets of paper and wires. Pen holders and storage boxes in wood and metal are for personalising the space with different shapes and colours. An adjustable stool goes everywhere with the desk or can be moved independently for dynamic, improvised seating. A shelf made of wood and metal fitted with sliding elements is ideal for furnishing tables and desks to create a defined personal space anywhere. These are the features of Portable Atelier. We will be getting a sneak peek at the larger project that will be developed in time, which will be distributed simultaneously by the two brands.
