Kazuyo Komoda was born in Tokyo and studied at the Musashino university of art. She started her career in industrial and interior design in Tokyo. Since 1989 she has been working in milan. After collaborating with Denis Santachiara, she established her own studio in Milan. Her activities involve several aspects of design, with a focus on researches about colours and materials, while she takes part in events and exhibitions both in europe and in the far east.
