Low Tide charts the flow of the water leaving the pool, weaving its way through the local area and out to sea.

Matt Nanson has found his unique approach to image-making has earned him a privileged place in the market, finding success in both fine art and commercial photography. Matt’s Low Tide series is a highly personal project based around the closure of the Leith Water World swimming pool in one of the more deprived areas of Edinburgh city centre. The pool was an important space for the community but was sold to Tesco so they could expand one of their superstores
