Resources

Inspired by the beauty and complexity of life, this design captures a 3D generated network of trees that envelop you in their endless growth.

How many trees are there? Which is the point of view?
“Stop and savour the liquid seductiveness of this infinite abyss”

Synthetic polyamide rugs are ideal for heavy traffic contract spaces, while wool is more suitable for residential.

For a crisper and more vivid print, polyamide is advised, while a softer and more authentic effect is created with wool.

Broersen & Lukács

Persijn Broersen and Margit Lukacs are artists based in Paris and Amsterdam. They produce a myriad of works- including architecture, wallpapers, murals, fashion, video, animation and graphics- that reflect on the ornamental nature of a society dictated by virtual media, for we tend to experience the world around us substantially via the boundless, timeless and flattened universe of our screens. These are exactly the same characteristics that define ornaments and their repetitive, hypnotic and delusional motives. These considerations resulted in series of works and designs that demonstrate how reality, (mass) media and fiction are strongly intertwined in contemporary culture.Their work is showcased in film festivals, museums, galleries and broadcasted on TV worldwide. Recent commissions include a mural for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and an architectural intervention at the metro-station Noorderpark in Amsterdam.Their work has been shown in (amongst others) GEM, The Hague, Centre Pompidou, Paris, World Expo Shanghai, International Film Festival Rotterdam and Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. Recently they participated in the Sydney Biennale (Au).
