The Lily sofa and armchair are inspired by organic shapes which Swedish and French designers Färg & Blanche value so preciously.
The DNA of the creative duo lies manifestly in the way they play around with volumes. It was this experimental approach to design that led Färg & Blanche to create the Lily collection. They sculpted the fabric in such a way that it would embrace the poetic and cosy figure of the cushioning. The pleated angles of the framework, sewn as folds, bring a touch of elegant couture to the furniture.
Stockholm based design studio Färg & Blanche was founded in 2010 by the Swedish designer Fredrik Färg and designer Emma Marga Blanche, born in France. As a studio, they work across a wide variety of fields, collaborating with established furniture brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Gärsnäs, Zero and Design House Stockholm to name a few, as well as producing their own collections and limited art pieces for galleries.
PETITE FRITURE, LIBRE GARDE design editor, was founded 10 years ago by Amélie du Passage, placing bold, talented, emerging designers at the heart of its singular collections.
