Konstantin Grcic brings together aesthetic precision and ruthlessly efficient engineering with the KD TABLE. A combination of industrial components and machined steel parts, the table is an exercise in purity of function, form and detail. Both robust and considered, the black, powder-coated metal frame has demountable triangular legs that are fixed to the frame at a 90-degree angle using metal bolts and adjustable feet, making the KD TABLE highly suited for portable use and easy storage.
Konstantin Grcic completed his MA in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art, London in 1990 and went on to work for Jasper Morrison, where he honed his approach to design. Grcic’s designs remain true to form and are characterised by careful research and a passion for technology and materials. In 1991, Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID) was founded. Many KGID designs have received international design awards and are also a part of the permanent collections at MoMA, New York, Centre Goerges Pompidou, Paris and Die Neue Sammlung, Munich. In 2012 Konstantin won Best of Best, Interior Innovation Award, Germany for PRO.
