The Industrial Collection is inspired by the design of classic industrial lamps.
Mouth-blown crystal glass combined with turned oak wood perform well together.
The principle is simple: The glass shade is beeing supported by a wooden cone that accommodates the LED light source and the technical components. Switched on arises a precise cone of light - a comfortable direct lighting without glare.
The glasses of the Industrial Collection are hand made. Unlike industrially produced glas this inevitably leads to individual variations. The material thickness always varies which may cause that the shade does not suspend exactly horizontally. This is no sign of inferior quality, but of traditional manufacturing and underlines the individual character of the lamps.
All three shapes can be combined for extra effect. You can select between two versions: clear and anthracite colored crystal glass.

Please note: All dreizehngrad lights are build in accordance to German regulations, this means all cables, switches and plugs meet the the German guidelines. For the use in other countries maybe adapters are neccessary.
kaschkasch
design studio kaschkasch was founded in 2011 by florian kallus and sebastian schneider. the duo works in furniture, lighting design and art direction for several national and international clients.
being a duo, collaboration is a crucial aspect of kaschkasch’s work. discussion is key. kaschkasch approaches design as a helpful and practical component of life that conveys character and attitudes through the expressiveness of restraint. basing themselves on this approach to design, kaschkasch wields a characteristic formal language that is inherently present in each design: it is a symbiosis of straightforwardness and beauty that toes the line between function and formal severity. the results are modest, challenging, intelligent and logical. kaschkasch questions prevailing norms and offers new answers to existing everyday demands.
florian kallus and sebastian schneider share a background that combines hands-on and academic education: both are trained as cabinet makers followed by studies in product design. this versatility informs everything kaschkasch does. the studio appreciates the hands-on insight, practice and technical understanding, which contributes to their design method: traditional craftsmanship techniques and a mindset geared towards innovation, disruption and new technological solutions.
dreizehngrad creates light combining tradition and modern spirit. Since 2010 we develop, manufacture and distribute high-quality, handmade lights. The materials are shown pure and genuine. In the manufacturing process, modern technologies and classic craftsmanship go hand in hand. Each piece is unique and one of a kind, lovingly shaped by hand in our workshop in Dresden. We love natural materials and daily work with them. Our lights are characterized by the natural material wood. The growth rings and natural color hues of the veneer let each lamp tell its unique story. In our designs, we combine a modern formal language with a special emphasis on material and traditional manufacturing. Our lights are used in commercial premises as well as in private homes. Together with architects, interior designers and lighting designers we equippe exceptional spaces in restaurants, hotels or retail stores. In addition to the existing product spectrum, we also offer made-to-measure lighting solutions. With a strong feel for materials and shapes and good attention to detail, we produce high-quality custom-made products. Our studio is located at a former manufactory for laces and curtains whose history goes back more than a hundred years. The industrial character fits our design approach perfectly. In the high and bright rooms, we enjoy a very pleasant and productive working atmosphere that provides individual freedom and inspires creativity at the same time.
