Born in 2009 as a modern reinterpretation of classic chandeliers, Hope has a graceful, support structure in cut and bent steel and - depending on the model – a variable number of transparent injection-moulded polycarbonate arms.

These arms support pairs of thin Fresnel lenses in plastic, produced by embossing microprisms onto polycarbonate film for a refraction effect equivalent to that of glass. Today Luceplan proposes four new versions capable of satisfying a variety of demands. The large suspension lamp with 105 pairs of illuminating lenses can be enlarged upon request for special projects. This is the perfect solution for public spaces where a sparkling and joyful effect is desired. The wall model is smaller, with three pairs of lenses, while the ceiling model has 12 pairs of lenses. Finally, the floor version completes the Hope family: polished stainless steel tripod supports 18 pairs of illuminating lenses.

Material: Pressed and bent mirror, polished stainless steel frame, injection moulded polycarbonate arms, transparent polycarbonate prismatic lenses Dimensions: suspension ø 200x90 cm, floor ø 40x200 cm, ceiling ø 69x41,5 cm, wall 48x43x28,5 cm Lamps: suspension 5x105W/75W HSGSA E27 energy saver o 5x max 23W FB E27, floor 105W halogen energy saver, ceiling max 3x60W halogen energy saver o 3x13W fluorescent, wall halogen energy saver compact R7s 150W

Formed in 1978, Luceplan cements the idea of three architects, Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi who wished to consolidate the experience developed during their long-standing collaboration with Gino Sarfatti, founder of Arteluce.
