The Herman family is growing, and the Herman Chair is now available in a version with an upholstered seat for enhanced comfort.
The Fiord upholstery, made by Kvadrat, is available in five different colours. Like the other Herman Chairs, it features the nice detail; the wooden backrests let you hang the chair on the table, making room for easy cleaning underneath the table. Herman Studio has designed the Herman Chair, which is produced by ferm Living.
Herman Studio
Since 2015 ferm LIVING and Herman Studio have been working together in the creation of beautiful furniture that balance a contemporary expression and classic touches of mid-century design. In the recent Spring/Summer 2017 collection the Herman Family has been expanded with an upholstered version of the Herman Chair. The upholstery is the high-quality textile Fiord by the Danish textile brand Kvadrat made of natural wool. Wool is a sustainable natural fibre that is hard-wearing, making it a perfect textile for a chair that you would want to use everyday.
Our soft forms, rich textures and deep colours allow you to create an authentic and composed atmosphere, while avant-garde shapes, striking patterns and curious details add a touch of the unexpected.
