Resources

The decorative LED lamp inspired by the Heracleum Plant now comes in two sizes.

The leaves ramify from a branch creating a very technical, natural structure. By using the technique of coating conductive layers. A design not possible with normal wires.

technical (CE)
Dimmable with mains voltage dimmer (dimmer for incandescent, halogen) Please make sure to use a dimmer rated for a low power luminaire.
Input voltage of 220-240V ~50Hz AC
Voltage on lamp < 5V DC (actual lamp surface functions as conductor!)

Recommended dimmers (ce)
Dimmers below (make & type) have proven to show a fluent dimming behaviour with CE version:
GIRA 226200 (replaces 030600) R,L JUNG 244HEX20-500 R,L INSTA 51180 R,L PEHA 435 HAN R,L Cooper control iLight system source controllers: SCI0410, SCI0805, SCI1210, SCI1220 Lutron LQSA-4A-D & QSNE-4A-D
IMPORTANT! The use of a non-recommended dimmer can lead to unexpected dimming behavior and even non-repairable damage of the fixture and/or driver.

Moooi keeps developing and enhancing its existing products. Therefore, they've developed a new power supply to improve their lighting collection. The most significant advantage is a better connection with domotica systems and modern LED dimmers. The metal canopy is replaced by this easy to install plastic canopy that matches the colour of the fixture, adding to the durability of the electronics inside it.

Bertjan Pot

"Don't believe the hype".

Bertjan Pot is a designer, probably best known for his Random Light (1999). The light started as a material experiment, which is basically the start of each product created by Studio Bertjan Pot. The outcome is usually an interior product showing a fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors. Most experiments start quite impulsively by a certain curiosity for how things would function or how something would look. From there Bertjan takes on challenges with manufacturers to explore possibilities and push the boundaries a bit. The reward for each challenge is a new one. Studio Bertjan Pot works with manufacturers such as Arco, Established & Sons, Feld, Gelderland, Montis, Moooi and Richard Lampert.

Dutch brand moooi evokes extraordinary experiences through daring collections of furniture and lighting.
