The patinated handle hooks are made from reclaimed wooden handles and rods. Some are over 100 years old and have been found in old farm.
Traces of use and exposure to natural elements have given each piece of wood a unique surface. Since every hook is different, they will look slightly different than the ones on the pictures. Contrasting, pristine wood becomes visible where the hook is cut and carved out. Every time we cut and carve a used handle, it's like magic when the pristine wood emerges underneath. Often it is only then we can see what type of wood it's made of. Sometimes smelling the fresh cut wood gives a hint as well, especially with pine, cedar or ash wood. The given price is per set of three hooks.
Along with the patinated version we have a version made from new, ash wood handles. Choose between either a set of three white hooks or a set of three plain ash wood. Larger numbers with a discount are available on request.
To mount the hooks to the wall, all you need to do is drill an 8 mm hole, insert the plug and screw the hook by it's hanger bolt inside the plug. Maximum load per hook is 2 kg.
Please note that these hooks are only suitable for solid walls or hollow walls with an outer cladding of at least 4 cm thick. Other types of plugs and hanger bolts are needed for hollow walls with a thinner cladding. Please contact the brand to order these.
