The reference, almost expected, is to the Ukiyo, an art print genre which flourished in Japan from the mid 17th century to the early 20th century.

Floating. The analogy however does not appear so much in the visual artifice which distinguishes the seat as much as in the fact that, as in the history of the prints, Float brokers the actual creative act with its commercial nature as an object devised and created within the industrial design world. In this way aesthetic research is flanked by the study of the dynamics of force, aimed at reaching the perfect balance between strength and comfort. Multipurpose seat available in the tall and low version which is comfortable enough to be placed unsurprisingly around a table.
Base in varnished steel and top in varnished ash.
