Simple geometric shapes, a combination of circles and ovals, recreate scenic suggestions that bring to mind the mystical powers of the eye and delineate the outline of the EYESHINE mirrors devised by the designer Anki Gneib.
The steam-bent ash encloses the reflecting surface and shows different sizes, expanding the eye’s searching echo.
Anki Gneib was born in London and studied at the Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design of the University College of Art, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.
The studio is based in Stockholm and works on a wide range of projects: interior design for commercial spaces, furniture, lighting and product design. He works as creative director for Adolfsson & Partners and recently completed the Swedish office of both the creators of the Candy Crush Saga, King game and the Spotify streaming music service.
