Enfold Sideboard combines the warm touch of oak, referencing the wooden sideboards of the 20th century, with the contemporary touch of its lacquered steel front that has been punched and bended for a refined and industrial look.
Bringing the industrial elements of factories into the home is the Enfold Sideboard. Made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds the top and bottom in solid oak, the Enfold Sideboard fuses cold and warm materials for a unique expression. The design comes in two sizes: one vertical, one horizontal, both with a set of adjustable shelves—the horizontal has two shelves that can be placed across five different levels while the vertical has a single shelf to be placed across three different levels.

THOMAS BENTZEN'S DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
“I like to create objects that are functional and simple and meet the human need while in use - and simply create joy while not. For me durability means quality, form and functionality. And putting an immense amount of energy into making virtues out of necessities.”
THOMAS BENTZEN ON NEW NORDIC DESIGN
“To me Scandinavian design has always been about honesty and functionality composed with poetry. I like it that way. And I think Scandinavian designers have succeeded in bringing their heritage into a time where we no longer stand next to the cabinetmaker, but are challenged and thrilled by new materials and new ways to produce.”
