Inspired, Neal Peterson creates his very own mandalas based on the look and feel of cities that hold a special place in his heart. Each design englobes its own elaborate pattern and set of colours, yet they all connect and blend into each other at a higher level.
Synthetic polyamide rugs are ideal for heavy traffic contract spaces, while wool is more suitable for residential.
For a crisper and more vivid print, polyamide is advised, while a softer and more authentic effect is created with wool.
Edward van Vliet
After his graduation from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1989 – Edward belongs to the famous generation of Dutch designers who have been causing international sensation for many years now – in 1991 he started designing patterns and product.With his own design Studio Edward van Vliet now works on various projects in the areas of product, textile and interior design for both national and international clients. He focuses primarily on the hospitality industry, offices, private homes and public spaces. Edward van Vliet translates his vision, creativity and years of experience into unique (interior) concepts in which he combines three-dimensional lighting and furniture designs with two-dimensional patterns, prints and graphics featuring layering, textiles and colours. Edward makes his designs powerful and surprising by applying contrasting materials and different patterns. Edward’s designs are easily recognizable by a mix of influences from traditional Western design, high-tech elements and natural materials finished off with the latest production techniques.
