Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the frame is crafted from tubular, powder coated steel, while the seat is made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, making the stool especially durable for outdoor use. The fold-up function ensures that the Desert Stool is easy to transport and can efficiently be stored away when not in use. With the help of specialized technology, the Desert series presents a sustainable line of textiles made entirely of post-consumer plastic bottles. Each Stool seat has been made from 17 bottles. This technique gives you incredibly durable designs while helping to clean up the oceans. Rugs, cushions and mats made from plastic may not initially sound like a textile that is soft to the touch, but with the Desert series won’t leave you longing for virgin wool. Not only are the textiles practical, easily cleaned and suitable for outdoor use, they also feel just as lovely as any other similar design.
