Darwin is a steel collection, which revisits classic themes, in a delicate metal sheet mesh placed within a contemporary geometric structure. The texture effect of chair and backrest is the defining feature of the collection’s style, which merges with the structural lines. The Darwin range consists of chairs, armchairs, tables, stools and counter tables, loungers and coffee tables. Defined by its exceptional style, Darwin is suited to all kinds of furnishing contexts.

Luca Pevere, Paolo Lucidi

Paolo Lucidi (1974) Luca Pevere (1977) Graduated at the Politecnico di Milano in Industrial Design. They collaborated with important design studios in Milan working directly on projects for many companies such as American Standard Europe, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Zerodisegno, Magis and Dainese. In 2003 they started to sign their projects together. In 2006 they established the LucidiPevere Design Studio in Milan. They designed for many companies operating in different fields such as furniture, lighting, tableware, bathroom and others. Their products have been shown both in European and U.S. Museums and they participated to several Italian and foreign exhibitions; moreover they have been mentioned in many magazines and books. LucidiPevere Design Studio is now established in Udine. They collaborate with companies from different countries and cultures; some of the brands they work with are De Padova, Zanotta, Agape, Ligne Roset, Gebrüder Tonet Vienna, Kristalia, Lema, Living Divani, Casamania, DeCastelli, Foscarini, Normann Copenhagen, Very Wood, La Cividina, ecc. They always try to deal with new types of products by working with different companies, countries and cultures; they are constantly looking for the right aesthetic expression of the material and technologies they are working on.

Emu began in 1951 in Marsciano, Umbria, and during the 60s found its natural vocation in the manufacture of outdoor furniture, in which it could best express the technology, cultural heritage and local know-how gained from experience of working with metal.
