This multifunctional piece was part of the unusual exhibition design for Peggy Guggenheim’s Art of This Century gallery, opened in 1942 in New York. The various positions and combinations yield a total of 18 different uses. Similarly to the Correalistisic Instrument, the Correalistic Rocker was not just a relaxing way to enjoy pictures was also a work of art itself. The rocker was likewise designed and made for the Art of This Century gallery in 1942.
