"The corner is a natural starting point to organize our thoughts and also our objects."
We love the clever thinking behind Corner Shelves & Dividers, the brainchild of Stockholm designer Kyuhyung Cho. When we write on paper, says Kyuhyung, we start from the left, allowing us to structure our words. Now he has applied that principle to shelving: "The corner is a natural starting point to organize our thoughts and also our objects." The larger corner forms a base shelf, with the medium and small elements creating dividers. Endlessly versatile, use Corners on a desk, fix to a wall or simply place in the corner of the room.
Stockholm-based Kyuhyung Cho first studied typography design and you can see that graphical approach still today in his furniture design. Kyuhyung is the man behind Menu’s colourful three-sided Corner Shelf. When we asked him to describe himself and his work, he emailed back this three-word answer: “THINK, PLAY, SMILE.”
