The idea behind the coloured, lightweight aluminium is that the furniture will be a casual breath of fresh air in the often neutral garden furniture universe, both with colours and a contemporary, light look.
The furniture takes up less space than traditional garden furniture. The elegant dining table, which is available with a teak table top with bevelled edges, the refined lines of which recur in the frame. With two leaves, the table measures as much as 243 cm – but with a very narrow width of 84 cm, it can still fit into many places.
Christina Strand (MDD) and Niels Hvass (MAA) are part of the new generation of Scandinavian designers. They believe that design in itself is a strategy that can improve the conditions of human life, the environment and personal experiences. Additionally, they believe that design can be used as a tool to develop the competitive power and economic growth of society. Their design is usercentered and deeply rooted in the Scandinavian culture. Simplicity and wellbalanced lines are the cornerstones of their work.
