Columbus chair design is inspired by the classical garden chairs from the US but done in a simplistic, Nordic style where the steel fittings are kept visible to create a subtle contrast.
The chair is adjustable, making it useful around the dining table as well as a sunchair.

We are a Danish design company with roots deeply grounded in Scandinavian design and tradition for good craftsmanship. We are owned by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who live with their two children in the Northern harbour city of Aalborg. This is where Skagerak was founded too, back in 1976, when the first dreams of making long-lasting design took form.
