Bringing together contrasting materials and a simple form, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have created a statement sofa that is also a welcoming retreat. The wide panels of the metal frame feature a slim edge profile, creating a surprising sense of lightness. This offsets the sofa’s generous dimensions and deep cushions, which can be customised to create linear, graphic looks, as well as softer styles. For the upholstery, the designers have selected textiles that offer a richness and tactility to compliment the smooth, powder-coated frame.
