Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architectural partnership, founded in Stockholm, in 1995, by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. It started as an architectural firm, but has since become an internationally-acclaimed, multi-disciplinary office with an equal emphasis on both architecture and design. Project categories include buildings, hotels, homes, shops, offices, exhibitions, kitchens, sanitary ware, tableware, glassware, furniture, textiles, tiles, lighting, electronics, candy and even a trophy (the Swedish TV-prize Kristallen).

Eero Koivisto is one of the architect trio known as Claesson Koivisto Rune, who have designed everything from houses and interiors to products and furniture. The list of their commissions includes buildings, private homes, offices, exhibitions, advertising agencies and restaurants. The trio have won a number of awards for architectural and product design both in Sweden and abroad. In 2007 they were selected as Designers of the Year by the Swedish magazine Disajn, and Eero Koivisto's Ghost sofa for OFFECCT was chosen as Sofa of the Year by the magazine Residence.

Mårten Claesson is an architect and designer. Claesson was educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, in Stockholm, and Parsons The New School for Design, in New York. He founded Claesson Koivisto Rune with Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune in 1995.

Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past seventy years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward-looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture.
