In Indian mythology, the iconography of the column is the axis of the world, the instrument used to separate the sky from the earth during the creation of the universe.
And from the earth, without starting from stands or platforms, the column reaches the sky to be touched by the sun. From this perspective, Capitello is a loan and a subversion: the column end part is cut, removed from verticality; the abacus, in the overthrow, becomes pedestal, support for a pleated bud, flower open to seek the light, agile and lightweight object to use as a coffee table or sitting. Polyammide rotationally molded and lacquered. Not suitable for outdoor use.
